The rich history of Scottsdale comes alive in the photos and exhibits in the two-room, Little Red Schoolhouse, now Scottsdale’s official historic museum. From our founder Winfield Scott to fabled Mayor Herb Drinkwater, from the pioneers who built Scottsdale’s canals and early farms, to the modern era developers of our neighborhoods, schools, shopping malls, ballparks and airport, visitors will learn about our city’s past and present.

Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center
Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center (SWCC) rescues native wild animals that have lost their homes to development, or are found injured, orphaned, or abandoned. When possible, the animals in our care are rehabilitated and released — healthy and wild — back where they belong. Southwest Wildlife shares its knowledge and passion about animals through education. We hope not only to educate but also to inspire people to learn about and respect our wildlife and conserve its habitat.
We are open to the public by appointment only for guided tours.
Vista del Camino Dog Park
This half-acre dog park has plenty of shade trees, benches and water fountains for you and your dog to enjoy. Parking is available off of Pierce Street links to external site , just north of McKellips Road. The dog park is just north of this parking area.

Tempe Town Lake is the perfect spot to experience some fun and enjoy the outdoors. It’s a bit unexpected for visitors to find a large body of water right in the heart of the city, but that’s exactly what you’ll find at Tempe Town Lake. From January to December, winter or summer, the lake is a nice place to visit throughout the year.
Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs
Pangaea Land of the Dinosaurs is an indoor interactive exhibit and educational center located at OdySea in the Desert. Complete with more than 80 lifelike animatronic dinosaurs that roam through exhibits and true-to-life recreations of prehistoric habitats, Pangaea is designed to transport guests back to the age of the dinosaurs. Guests can enjoy family-friendly activities, educational explorations, high quality dining and more.
Butterfly Wonderland
Butterfly Wonderland transports guests of all ages to the rainforest by immersing them in the world of butterflies and other rainforest animals. Horizon Dog Park
This small dog park is located in a retention basin on the far west end of Horizon Park. It has a large shade structure, a water fountain for you and your dog, and a water feature to control the dust. This area of the park is prone to flooding after a storm.

Enchanted Island Amusement Park
Whether you like spinning, flying, dropping, bumping, driving, rocking, or rolling, the rides at Enchanted Island Amusement Park are sure to thrill and delight.
If you’re in a leisurely mood, tour the grounds on the C.P. Huntington Train, go back in time on the Encanto Carousel, and rent a pedal boat or canoe.
More adventurous riders will also want to take in the spectacular skyline views from the Parachute Tower, crash and splash in the Bumper Boats, and maneuver their own airplane on the popular Red Baron ride.

Glow Putt Mini Golf
Glow Putt Mini Golf is an indoor, glow-in-the-dark, miniature golf course. The jungle-safari theme surrounds a challenging 18-hole course that is illuminated with special UV lighting. Even the golf ball is special as it glows brilliantly each time it passes through one of the many custom-made CHARGERS located throughout the course. The layout is designed to challenge and please all skill levels as you make your way through the air-conditioned course.
The McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park
The McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park is operated by the city of Scottsdale’s Parks & Recreation Department. The 30 acre park, located in the heart of Scottsdale, Arizona, is the most unique park of its kind in the country. Take a ride on the Paradise & Pacific Railroad and the 1950-vintage Allan Herschell carousel. Visit a variety of shops and museums, play on our one-of-a-kind playgrounds or play areas, or just relax in the grass under a tree in Scottsdale’s most beautiful park.

Scottsdale Art Walk

Penske Racing Museum
The Penske Racing Museum showcases an amazing collection of cars, trophies and racing memorabilia chronicling the career of one of the most successful dynasties in all of sports. Penske Racing has over 50 years of racing experience and over 400 major race wins highlighted by 17 Indianapolis 500-mile race victories. On display in the museum are cars detailing the diversity of Penske Racing including a replica of the 1963 Pontiac Catalina which Roger Penske drove to victory in the 1963 Riverside 250. Arizona E-Bike Tours
We are a Tour Company designed to take groups of up to 15 people out for the e-bike experience through Scottsdale, Tempe & Phoenix Papago Park. Discover parks, paths, mountains, homes as well as unique locations and experiences. Our Tour is hosted by facilitators who will inject information, fun stops and a message on "get out and play" while providing a unique 1.5-3.5 hour tours of the Scottsdale Greenbelt, Arizona Canal Banks, Tempe Town Lake and Papago Park. We use existing bike paths and trails which are all provided by local municipalities and we follow all the rules of the path, parks and roads. We're not renting bikes, we are providing a tour with experts on outdoor recreation and the area trails. The bikes are pedal assist and designed for almost all physical abilities and offer a variety of sizes to meet your participant needs. We offer weekly seasonal set tour times as well as custom private group events.
Musical Instrument Museum
MIM began with a vision to create a musical instrument museum that would be truly global. Realizing most musical museums featured historic, primarily Western classical instruments, MIM’s founder Bob Ulrich (then CEO of Target Corporation) was inspired to develop a new kind of museum that would focus on the kind of instruments played every day by people worldwide.
